It was 12:30pm on a Tuesday and we were laying on the beach watching the crystal clear waters wash up along the shore. I was enjoying the warm breeze with a miami vice in my hand when I saw our personal butler walking across the sand with a large covered tray in hand. We mentioned the night before that we were going to spend the day on the beach that day. We figured we could call her if we needed her and didn’t even give her any specific instructions. But there she was with lunch! Veggie burger for me and a double cheeseburger for Jeff. I was very pleasantly surprised that she remembered I was a vegetarian. Some of my own friends forget that even after 20 years! And so our experience at Sandals Regency La Toc began.

Butler Service

This is a luxury add on to your already all-inclusive adults only vacation at Sandals. We heard about it from friends and thought this would be a nice little extra for our honeymoon. Our personal butler was available almost all day from 7am-10pm. You will likely have 2 concierges/butlers (I use the terms interchangeably here) throughout the day as they work in shifts and they give you a cell phone to carry around with you so you can call them when you need anything. I found it pretty cool to have this and we used them for a number of things which gave us more time to just enjoy our vacation.

Our concierge drove us around the resort in golf carts (which can be handy as the resort is huge and has quite a few hills). They made all of our dinner reservations and spa appointments (usually you have to call or go down to the lobby to make your reservations). They offered to unpack our suitcases. They reserved day beds for us by the pool or beach so we didn’t have to wake up early to get a good spot (we loved this!). They served us breakfast in bed (we took advantage of this a few days!). They set up a private candlelit dinner for just us on our terrace from a restaurant of our choice on the property. They kept our bar stocked with whatever our beverage of choice was. For me- wine and champagne and for Jeff -cognac. They provided nightly turn down service. This is just the short list of what they can do. They definitely made our honeymoon so amazing and we highly recommend for anyone planning a special vacay!

During the day we went out on execrations exploring the island touring and visiting attractions. We loved the hot springs bath that claims to have skin healing properties. We went on booze cruises and snorkeling. The spa on site was wonderful and we indulged in the couples massage.

The resort offered nightly entertainment from singing and dancing to game shows. Sandals also has 2 other properties on the Island and they offer a free shuttle to visit all of them. We took advantage of this and went to dinner at the Sandals Halcyon Beach one night and went to a show at the Sandals Grande another night. We were entertained every minute of the day on this beautiful resort and island.

Honeymoon Hideaway

Sandals features this suite as a honeymoon fav. That’s because it’s tucked away behind trees so that you have more privacy than some of the other rooms. It is also equipped with it’s own private pool (a yes for skinny dipping with your honey lol). The location was great but the only downfall with being behind trees is that the sun does not shine much there. Perfect for shade but bad for the water as our pool was pretty cold. We still enjoyed it though. The suite was large with a living room, separate sleeping quarters and good size terrace even with the pool there. It was a great suite.
