Jeff and I met while working together in our healthcare jobs. I never thought I would be the girl who meets her husband at work but here we are! We were both in failing relationships at the time and once we connected on a more personal level, we were inseparable. We fell in love and got engaged a year after dating. Jeff was just my kind of guy- funny, smart, tall, handsome, and so down to earth. After two years, we had a beautiful destination wedding on the island of Saint Lucia. Our journey as the Taylors began.

Forever Tied

‘Forever’ has a different ring to it once you’re married. After all the planning and excitement around our wedding was over the reality set in that this is it. Marriage is usually portrayed as blissful, happy, fun and peaceful. But it takes work and patience from both parties to achieve that. I figured since we got along so great as boyfriend/girlfriend the marriage would be effortless! Wrong! I learned that marriage is not a destination. It’s a never ending journey that requires you to continuously learn and engage your partner. To have a happy forever we both learned to keep an open mind and in everything we do, to do it with love.
